One of the first things you see on arrival is the famous concrete couch.

I saw a picture of a fabric couch sitting in a field, a photo op for a furniture ad. The idea sprang into my head: wouldn’t it be wonderful to create a concrete couch that looked genuinely fabricky. I mentioned to my daughter that I was creating a concrete couch. My Son-in law’s immediate comment was, “I’m not sleeping on it!” Immediately I began calling it “My son-in-law couch.”
